I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how we enjoyed our time in Barcelona and the tours arranged by Barcelona Guide Bureau (BGB).
When I was looking for a Gaudí Tour in Barcelona a few months ago, I read some reviews about BGB in TripAdvisor and I contacted you via e-mail for further information. I got prompt reply from Ramon with full details and quote about your private tours, providing useful information and good suggestions.
We finally decided to book for a transfer from the airport, a private Gaudí Tour and a Walking Tapas Tour in the Gothic Quarter. The arrangement was perfect.
Our first impression of Barcelona was smooth. A professional driver met us at BCN Airport Arrivals and we glided through to Barcelona in a comfortable and sparkling new Mercedes Benz.
Since it was our first time in Barcelona, we felt that a local guide would be passionate about her city. We were so right. Our guide, Nuria, was wonderful and it was great to have the same individual on both days! She was very knowledgeable and her English was excellent. She made the extraordinary Gaudí buildings come to life and we avoided queues in the Sagrada Família.
During the Tapas Tour we learned how muscle our way to the bar, order tapas and pintxos, rush to get the limited supply of “hot” pintxos as soon as they came out of the kitchen, enjoy the refreshing Basque white wine and finally tally up the toothpicks to pay.
I think that our guide was just perfect for our group of four and we not only expanded our knowledge; but we enjoyed ourselves greatly discovering the hidden gems in your wonderful city.
Wecovered everything we had asked to see during our brief stay in Barcelona and would highly recommend Barcelona Guide Bureau.
